👨🏫 Current Position
Dr. Ghazi Mustafa Ali Magableh is currently serving as an Associate Professor at Yarmouk University, within the Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology, Department of Industrial Engineering in Irbid, Jordan, a position he assumed in Summer 2023. His academic leadership and expertise support the department’s continuous growth in engineering education and applied research.
🎓 Education
Dr. Magableh holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas, USA (2004), where he completed his dissertation on A Dynamic Replenishment System for the Integrated Supply Chain Warehousing and Transportation Functions. He earned a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering/Management from the University of Jordan (2001), focusing on internet-enabled supply chain models for SMEs. He also completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Mu’tah University (1990) and a Diploma in Military Science from the same institution.

He is a holder of several professional certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI-USA, Certified Project Manager (CPM) from IAPPM-USA, Certified Trainer (CT) from ILM-UK, Train of Trainers (TOT) from Derayah Academy in Jordan, the International Computer Driving License (ICDL), and Basic Instructor Techniques (BIT) from Prince Faisal Technical College. These certifications reflect his commitment to continuous professional development and instructional excellence.
💼 Professional Experience
Over the years, Dr. Magableh has held numerous key academic and strategic positions. At Yarmouk University, he previously served as an Assistant Professor, Department Head, and Director of International Relations and Projects. He also played a strategic role at KADDB (King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau), serving as CEO Technical Assistant, Acting Head of Projects, and Business Development Lead. His career began in the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF), where he served in various engineering and leadership capacities from 1990 to 2009.
🔬 Research Experience
Dr. Magableh has a robust research portfolio, particularly in decision modeling, supply chain systems, and sustainable engineering. He contributed to multiple federally funded research projects as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Arkansas, focusing on transportation networks, warehouse integration, and wireless data systems. At Yarmouk University, he was a member of both the Scientific Research Council and the Technology Transfer Council, and at KADDB, he led several research and development initiatives. He has also developed advanced traffic technology models for the Public Security Directorate of Jordan.
📚 Teaching Expertise
As an educator, Dr. Magableh has designed and taught a wide array of undergraduate and graduate courses. These include Logistics and Supply Chain Systems, Manufacturing Processes I & II, Simulation Systems, Decision Support Systems, Engineering Economy, Statistical Quality Control, Product Design, and Project Management. He also teaches cutting-edge topics such as Industry 4.0 and 5.0 and Smart Systems, ensuring students are prepared for emerging industrial challenges.

Dr. Magableh’s research interests span across several critical areas: decision modeling and engineering decision systems, sustainability and renewable energy, supply chain and logistics systems, and product design and manufacturing processes.
