Dr. John Theodoropoulos is an orthopedic surgeon, academic leader, and sports medicine specialist recognized for his contributions to cartilage regeneration, arthroscopic surgery, and athlete injury management. With a BSc from McGill University, an MD from Queen’s University, and an MSc in Cartilage Regeneration from the University of Toronto, he completed orthopedic surgery residency training at McGill and a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and staff surgeon at Mount Sinai Hospital, Women’s College Hospital, and the University Health Network.
