Assoc Prof Dr . Tova Michalsky began her academic journey at Bar-Ilan University, earning her Bachelor's degree in Biology in 1977. She continued her studies at the same institution, completing her Master's degree with honors in Biology in 1979. Later, in 2003, she achieved her PhD in Science Education from Bar-Ilan University, focusing on the effects of Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) guidance in asynchronous learning networks on inquiry learning processes.

Assoc Prof Dr . Michalsky's academic career at Bar-Ilan University spans over two decades, showcasing her dedication to education. She started as a Teaching Assistant in 2000 and gradually climbed the academic ranks, becoming an Instructor in 2007, a Lecturer in 2010, a Senior Lecturer from 2014 to 2019, and ultimately an Associate Professor in 2020.
