Prof. Vikas G Jadhao began his academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering from Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth Akola, Maharashtra, in 2001. He then pursued a Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Soil and Water Engineering from Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, in 2003. Later, he continued his academic pursuits by enrolling in a Ph.D. program in Water Resources Development & Management at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee in 2017.

Professional Endeavors

Throughout his career, Prof. Jadhao has held various academic and research positions. He has served as the Senior Scientist & Head at Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Agri. Science Center), Jalgaon Jamod, Buldana District, Maharashtra, since November 2018. Prior to this, he worked as an Assistant Professor & Head at the Department of Agricultural Engineering, Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Aurangabad, for over 11 years.

Prof. Jadhao has also contributed to academia as an approved PG Research guide at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Dr. BAMU), Aurangabad, for M. Tech. (Food Processing Technology).

Prof Dr Julius Bernardus van Lier, known as Jules, was born on January 29, 1963, in Beesel/Reuver, The Netherlands. He earned his Ph.D. in Environmental and Agricultural Sciences from Wageningen Agricultural University in 1995. His dissertation focused on "Thermophilic Anaerobic Waste Water Treatment, Temperature Aspects, and Process Stability." Prior to this, he obtained a Master of Science degree in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen Agricultural University in 1988, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Nijmegen University in 1985.

  • Since 2008, Jules van Lier has been a Full Professor of "Wastewater/Environmental Engineering" at Delft University of Technology, affiliated with the Department of Water Management, Section Sanitary Engineering.
  • He held a special chair appointment as Professor of Environmental Technology at Wageningen University from 2005 to 2008.
