Biography of Dr. Kashif Iqbal
Education & Academic Journey
Dr. Kashif Iqbal holds a Ph.D. in Management Sciences and Economics from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (2016β2020). He also earned an MS in Social Sciences and Economics from SZABIST (2012β2014) and a BS (Hons) in Economics from the University of Malakand (2007β2011). This strong academic background underpins his scholarly and teaching excellence.
Current Academic Roles
As of 2024, Dr. Iqbal is a Lecturer and Course Coordinator in Economics at RMIT University Vietnam (AACSB-accredited). He is also serving as an Academic Editor for the International Journal of Energy Research and Advances in Public Health, and an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Public Health β Health Economics.
Research Interests
Dr. Iqbalβs research is centered on Environmental Economics, Development Economics, International Trade, Digital Innovation, Green Economy, Climate Change Management, Econometrics, and Big Data Analysis. He is recognized for exploring the synergy between technology, sustainability, and economic development.
Previous Positions
Before joining RMIT, he worked as an Associate Professor at Shanghai Dianji University (2022β2024), Assistant Professor at Wuxi University (2020β2022), and as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Peshawar (2014β2016).
