Professor Sha Yin earned her Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from Harbin Institute of Technology, focusing on ultralightweight composite lattice materials under the guidance of Prof. Linzhi Wu. Her doctoral research emphasized the design and mechanics of hierarchical composite structures. She completed her B.S. in the same field from the same institution.
