Dr. Taiwo Shakirudeen Babatunde is an economist and research professional with extensive experience in macroeconomic analysis, policy research, and strategic consulting across Sub-Saharan Africa. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Johannesburg, an MSc from the University of Lagos, and a BSc from Lagos State University. Taiwo has served in senior research and economist roles at leading institutions including the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, Genesis Analytics (South Africa), Ringier AG Africa, and Time-Line Consult. His expertise spans econometrics, CGE and macroeconomic modelling, data analytics, and policy advisory, with strong proficiency in tools such as STATA, R, E-Views, MATLAB, and ArcGIS. His research interests focus on macroeconomic fluctuations, development economics, and evidence-based policy formulation.
