Assoc Prof Dr . Tova Michalsky began her academic journey at Bar-Ilan University, earning her Bachelor's degree in Biology in 1977. Later, in 2003, she achieved her PhD in Science Education from Bar-Ilan University, focusing on the effects of Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) guidance in asynchronous learning networks on inquiry learning processes.
