Dr. Sarvajith M is an environmental biotechnologist with a strong academic foundation in life sciences, holding a PhD in Life Sciences, an MSc in Biochemistry, and a multidisciplinary bachelor’s degree. His professional experience spans postdoctoral research, scientist and senior research fellow roles, with extensive expertise in developing, scaling up, and commissioning advanced wastewater treatment technologies. His research interests include aerobic granular sludge systems, microbial ecology, bioprocess engineering, emerging contaminants, resource recovery, and microbe–metal interactions. He possesses advanced research skills in bioreactor design, microbial consortia engineering, molecular analysis, pilot-to-full-scale translation, and mentoring researchers. Prof. Dr. Jose Uberos is a distinguished pediatrician and full professor at the University of Granada, with extensive experience in clinical practice, research, and teaching. He earned his MD from the University of Granada in 1992, completed his doctoral studies at the same institution in 1994, and obtained a Master’s in Research Methodology and Statistics in Health Sciences from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona in 2007. Since 1989, he has been actively involved in research through the Andalusian Plan for Research (PAIDI CTS-190) and the IBS-Granada group MP19, focusing on nutrition, metabolism, growth, and childhood development. His professional career includes serving as Head of Section in Pediatrics at the Hospital Universitario San Cecilio and participation in primary care teams. Prof. Uberos has published numerous high-impact journal articles, books, and book chapters, achieving an H-index of 27 and recognition through five national research sexenios and three teaching quinquenios. His research primarily addresses neonatal nutrition, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, retinopathy of prematurity, probiotics in preterm infants, and neurodevelopmental outcomes. He actively reviews manuscripts and research projects for prestigious journals and national institutions. His contributions significantly advance pediatric care, emphasizing evidence-based approaches and the critical role of early nutrition in long-term child health.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amirreza Abed-Elmdoust is an accomplished aquaculture and aquatic sciences researcher with a Ph.D. in Engineering of Natural Resources and Aquatic Sciences from the University of Tehran. His doctoral research focused on metabolic changes in droplet vitrified semen of the endangered Persian sturgeon (Acipenser persicus). He also holds an M.Sc. from the University of Tehran and a B.Sc. from the University of Zabol, both in Natural Resources and Aquatic Sciences. Currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Tehran, Dr. Abed-Elmdoust has extensive experience in aquaculture, fish reproductive biology, cryopreservation, metabolomics, and aquatic toxicology. His prolific research includes over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles, with contributions to the fields of microplastic toxicity, fish immunology, metabolic profiling, and nanotechnology in aquaculture, amassing significant citations – 318 and an h-index -7. He has led multiple applied research projects in collaboration with environmental agencies and aquaculture companies, supervising numerous Ph.D. and M.Sc. theses. His work has been recognized for advancing sustainable aquaculture practices, innovative cryopreservation techniques, and improving fish health and productivity. Dr. Abed-Elmdoust continues to contribute to the scientific community through mentorship, high-impact publications, and applied environmental and aquaculture research.
