prof Magni Mohr began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Copenhagen in 1998. He continued his education, earning a Master of Science in Human Physiology in 2001, and later achieving a PhD in Exercise Physiology from the Department of Exercise and Sports Sciences, Section of Human Physiology, University of Copenhagen in 2008.

Professional Endeavors

Throughout his career, prof Magni Mohr has held various academic positions. He served as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Copenhagen from 1999 to 2005 and later pursued his PhD at the same institution from 2005 to 2008. Following this, he held the position of Post doc at the Department of Exercise and Sports Sciences, Section of Human Physiology, University of Copenhagen from 2008 to 2011.

His international experience includes being a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Exeter, UK, from 2011 to 2014, and an Associate professor at the Center for Health and Human Performance, Department of Food and Nutrition, and Sport Science, University of Gothenburg, Sweden, from 2013 to 2019.

Currently, Magni Mohr is a Professor at the Department of Sports Science and Clinical Biomechanics, SDU Sport and Health Sciences Cluster (SHSC), Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southern Denmark, and a Professor at the Faculty of Health, University of the Faroe Islands, Tórshavn, Faroe Islands.
