Mona A. El-Bannan, Ph.D., is a distinguished academician and finance expert. She currently serves as the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Associate Professor of Finance at the German University in Cairo (GUC). Following this, Mona earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Ain Shams University in 2011. Her dissertation, titled “A Proposed Framework for Bank Governance according to Basel Requirements and the Monetary Policy of Central Bank of Egypt”, significantly contributed to the understanding of financial governance in Egypt.

In addition to her academic responsibilities, Mona has contributed to the development of accounting systems and conducted various business consulting projects in the pharmaceutical sector.
