Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nusrat Shaheen is a physicist specializing in condensed matter physics, thermoelectric materials, and energy storage technologies. She earned her PhD in Condensed Matter Physics from Chongqing University, China (2017), following an MSc in Physics from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, and a BSc in Physics from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Pakistan. She completed two post-doctoral fellowships in China at Xi’an Jiaotong University (2019–2021) and Guangxi University (2021–2023), working on advanced thermoelectric and energy materials. Her academic experience includes serving as Assistant Professor at COMSATS University Islamabad and Lecturer of Physics at a government college in Pakistan. Her research focuses on thermoelectric materials (skutterudites and half-Heuslers), supercapacitors, batteries, fuel cells, and nanomaterial synthesis using hydrothermal, CVD, and solid-state methods. She has extensive expertise in structural, thermal, electrical, and electrochemical characterization. Dr. Shaheen is a recipient of the CSC Scholarship and the International Outstanding Student Award. Her scholarly impact includes 45 documents, an h-index of 17, and approximately 1,346 citations across 1,243 citing documents, reflecting sustained contributions to energy and materials research.
