Academic Background

I am fervent about computational research in Grid and Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, and Machine Learning. I hold an M.Sc. in Computer Networks from Universiti Putra Malaysia, specializing in Distributed Computing (Grid). I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Near East University, Cyprus, focusing on Machine Learning. I am an aspiring researcher with strong communication, technical, and organizational skills, honed through professional service, scientific research, teaching, and community service.

📏 Work Experience

I am currently a Lecturer I at Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, where I have been since 2016. In this role, I conduct academic research and teach computer science courses to undergraduate students. My teaching portfolio includes programming languages such as FORTRAN, MATLAB, C, and C++, as well as overseeing students’ final year projects. Additionally, I mentor high-achieving students, preparing them for participation in international, regional, and local competitions. Prior to this, from 2013 to 2014, I served as a classroom teacher at Essence International Benanthy School in Paiko, Niger State. There, I was responsible for preparing teaching materials and delivering instruction across various subjects. My administrative and organizational experiences are extensive, having served as the Assistant Seminar/Project Coordinator and Departmental Quality Assurance Coordinator in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. Furthermore, I have been a student advisor and examination officer, roles in which I provided guidance and support to students and ensured the smooth execution of departmental examinations.

🎓 Education and Training

I hold a Master of Technology (MTech) in Computer Science from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, obtained in 2015. My master’s research focused on the development of intelligent systems for data analysis, which has significantly shaped my expertise in computational methodologies. Prior to this, I earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mathematics/Computer Science from Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, in 2011, where I graduated with honors. My undergraduate studies provided a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied aspects of mathematics and computer science, equipping me with versatile problem-solving skills. Additionally, I have participated in numerous professional development workshops and training programs, including specialized courses in programming languages, data analysis, and educational pedagogy. These continuous learning opportunities have enabled me to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field and enhance my teaching and research capabilities.
