Dr. Abdulrazzaq Hammal is a distinguished faculty member at the University of Aleppo, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Department of Basic Sciences (Industrial Chemistry), specializing in industrial chemistry, nanochemistry, building materials, natural raw materials, and water treatment. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry (2008), Master’s in Applied Chemistry with a focus on Inorganic Industries (2012), and PhD in Applied Chemistry – Inorganic Industries (2017), all from the University of Aleppo. Following this, she pursued a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering at the same institution in 2004. Later, she obtained her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical & Biochemical Engineering from The University of Western Ontario in 2010.

She served as an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in the Department of Engineering at Dalhousie University since 2013.
