Dr. Ngoni Courage Shereni began his academic journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the University of Zimbabwe between August 2005 and December 2009. Following this foundational education, he pursued a Master of Commerce Degree in the same field at Midlands State University in Zimbabwe from January 2014 to November 2015. His academic pursuits continued as he achieved a Further Education Trainers’ Diploma from Mutare Polytechnic, Zimbabwe, in 2014-2015. His highest academic achievement came with a PhD in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, completed between February 2018 and May 2022.

Dr. Shereni's professional journey spans various roles, showcasing his dedication to the field of tourism and hospitality. He served as a Tourism and Hospitality Senior Lecturer at Lupane State University in Zimbabwe since April 2017 and concurrently held a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at the University of Johannesburg from January 2023. His experience includes roles as a Project Supervisor for Environmental Management Honours students at the University of South Africa (UNISA) and positions as a lecturer across various institutions in Zimbabwe and South Africa.
