Federico’s early career included roles as a PhD Intern in Financial Stability at the Bank of England (2015), and as a Research Fellow at the University of Copenhagen (2014โ€“2015) and Kiel Institute for the World Economy (2013โ€“2014).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Songkeart Phattarapattamawong holds a Ph.D. in Urban Management from Kyoto University, Japan (MEXT Scholarship), an M.Eng. in Environmental Engineering and Management from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand (Royal Scholarship), and a B.Eng. in Environmental Engineering from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Thailand (1st Class Honours).

Dr. Phattarapattamawong has received numerous awards, including the 1st place in the Energy Research Proposal Contest (2024) and multiple medals at the Japan Design, Idea & Invention Expo (2019).
