Dr. Rashid Ayub holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) from Sunrise University, Alwar, India (2023), with a thesis focused on “Extension of Bounded Rationality in AI to Sensing Activity through Limited Resource Sensing Problem.” He also earned his MCA from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (1996), an M.Sc. in Mathematics from Magadh University (1993), and a B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from the same university (1991).

Dr. Ayub has over 20 years of experience in both academia and industry. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor/Researcher at the Department of Science, Technology & Innovation at King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, since 2009. Prior to this, he worked as an MIS Coordinator for the Project Management Unit under the Ministry of Environment & Forests in India (2001-2009), where he developed significant documents for information management and served as a trainer in a UN program.
