Mr. Berhanu Wale Yirdaw began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Debre Markos University, Ethiopia, between 2011/12 and 2015 G.C. He further advanced his education by earning a Master of Science in Pediatrics and Child Health Nursing at the University of Gondar from 2018 to 2020. His strong foundation in nursing laid the groundwork for a career deeply rooted in both healthcare practice and academia.

Berhanu started his professional career as a BSc Nurse Practitioner at Debark General Hospital, Ethiopia, from October 12, 2015, to June 21, 2016. He transitioned to academia by joining Teda Health Science College as a Lecturer in June 2016 and has been serving there ever since. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he has held several leadership roles, including Nursing Department Head, Health Extension Program Unit Leader (2020–2022), and currently serves as the Educational Development Center (EDC) Coordinator since October 2024.
