Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad is an accomplished Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST), with a PhD in Mathematics. With over 20 years of experience in both teaching and academic administration, Dr. Ahmad has contributed significantly to the growth of higher education institutions in Pakistan. He has taught diverse mathematical courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, specializing in Fluid Mechanics, Dynamical Systems, and Numerical Analysis. His leadership as the Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at MUST, where he launched Online Education, is a testament to his forward-thinking approach to education.

Dr. Ahmad’s research interests are centered around Fluid Mechanics 💧, Nonlinear Dynamical Systems 🔄, Bifurcation Theory 🌀, and Boundary Value Problems 🧩. Throughout his career, Dr. Ahmad has received multiple honors and awards for his outstanding contributions to academia. These include an HEC Scholarship for his PhD studies, as well as Certificates of Appreciation for his leadership in launching online education at MUST. He was also recognized for his contributions to quality assurance in higher education by the President of AJ&K in 2020. In addition, he is serving as a Technical Program Committee Member for the 3rd International Conference on Acoustics, Fluid Mechanics, and Engineering (AFME 2024) in Hangzhou, China.

Dr. Ahmad has mentored numerous graduate students in the field of mathematics. His supervision includes students such as Usama Munir, Farzeen Ashfaq, and Yusra Rani, with many students contributing to research areas related to Fluid Mechanics and Dynamical Systems.
