Emmanuel is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing at Birmingham City University, with a focus on teaching and learning in digital spaces in nursing and midwifery education. His academic background includes a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Nigeria, and a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc) degree. He has also completed postgraduate training in research practice and has received certification in leadership and teaching techniques for higher education.

💼 Professional Experience

Emmanuel has a diverse range of professional experiences. He currently holds a full-time position as a Doctoral Researcher and Lecturer at Birmingham City University, contributing to research and curriculum development. He has also worked as a Staff Nurse in various healthcare settings, including Thornbury Nursing Service, Leighton Hospital, and University College Hospital in Nigeria, where he provided patient care in orthopaedics, neurosurgery, and emergency departments.

📝 Research & Scholarly Activity

Emmanuel’s research interests are focused on improving healthcare through education and policy. He is currently working on several projects, including exploring the effectiveness of nursing and midwifery curricula across the WHO-Afro region and studying the impact of digital spaces on teaching and learning. His ongoing research includes studies on HIV/AIDS medication adherence, childhood diarrhea management, and primary healthcare system determinants.
