Early Academic Pursuits
Prof. Vikas G Jadhao began his academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering from Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth Akola, Maharashtra, in 2001. He then pursued a Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Soil and Water Engineering from Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, in 2003. Later, he continued his academic pursuits by enrolling in a Ph.D. program in Water Resources Development & Management at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee in 2017.
Professional Endeavors
Throughout his career, Prof. Jadhao has held various academic and research positions. He has served as the Senior Scientist & Head at Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Agri. Science Center), Jalgaon Jamod, Buldana District, Maharashtra, since November 2018. Prior to this, he worked as an Assistant Professor & Head at the Department of Agricultural Engineering, Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Aurangabad, for over 11 years.
Prof. Jadhao has also contributed to academia as an approved PG Research guide at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Dr. BAMU), Aurangabad, for M. Tech. (Food Processing Technology).

Prof. Jadhao's research interests lie in the field of Water Resources Development & Management. His notable research contributions include hydrological modeling of small watersheds, estimation of surface runoff using remote sensing and GIS techniques, and studies on the impact of conservation practices on rainfall-runoff relationships for different crops.

Prof. Vikas G Jadhao has received the "Distinguished Scientist Award-2023" from the Agricultural & Environmental Technology Development Society (AETDS). This award was presented at the 5th International Conference on "Climate Change and Its Impact (CCI 2023)" at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST-K) Kashmir, Srinagar, J&K., India, in June 2023.
Additionally, he is a Fellow of the Hind Agri-Horticultural Society (FHAS) and holds QIP fellowship of AICTE Delhi for the Ph.D. program at IIT Roorkee.
