Pierre Rouault completed his PhD in 2024 at INRAE Avignon, focusing on water resource management in Mediterranean orchards. He earned a Master’s degree in Amélioration Production Valorisation du Végétal from AgroCampus Ouest – Université Rennes 1 in 2021. His Bachelor’s in Biologie with a specialization in physiologie Végétale was obtained from Université Rennes 1 in 2019. He also holds a DUT in Génie Biologique – Environnement from IUT de La Roche-sur-Yon – Université de Nantes (2017), and a Baccalauréat Scientifique – SVT from Lycée Émile Littré, Avranches (2014).

Pierre’s professional journey includes a PhD research role at INRAE Avignon, where he evaluated agricultural practices for water management. His experience spans several internships and projects: evaluating STICS model simulations for vineyards at UMR ABSys – Montpellier SupAgro, creating biomass estimation tools for alfalfa, and developing management techniques for kiwi orchards with the Bureau Interprofessionnel du kiwi de Toulouse. He has also worked on colza-lupin co-culture impacts, held interim positions in various sectors, and created self-assessment documents using ISO standards at Arrivé Nutrition Animale.

Pierre is interested in agricultural practices, particularly the management of water resources in Mediterranean environments. His research also explores the effects of crop co-cultures on plant development and the development of tools for estimating biomass production.
