Mr.Christopher Darr is a German board-certified urologist and Privatdozent at the Clinic and Polyclinic for Urology, Pediatric Urology and Uro-Oncology at University Hospital Essen. After completing his medical studies at the University of Duisburg-Essen and obtaining his medical license, he pursued specialist training and an academic career in urology, becoming a consultant urologist and later senior consultant. He earned his doctorate with distinction (cum laude) and completed his habilitation, receiving the venia legendi in urology, with a research focus on molecular intraoperative diagnostics in high-risk prostate cancer. Dr. Darr holds key leadership roles in certified prostate and kidney cancer centers, contributes to national clinical guidelines, and serves as a reviewer for leading international oncology and urology journals.
