Dr. Satbir Singh began his academic journey by pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Production and Industrial Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering in 1991. His inclination towards management led him to acquire a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management with a specialization in Operations Management from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning, Pune, in 2006. Further enriching his knowledge base, he obtained an International Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management with distinction from the International Trade Centre, Geneva, in 2009. This was followed by a PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute, USA, in 2010. His thirst for knowledge didn't stop there; he also secured a Green Belt in Six Sigma from KPMG in 2018 and a Post Graduate Program in Business Analytics in 2018 from SIES College of Management Studies, Navi Mumbai. Recently, he accomplished his Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management from GLA University in 2023, focusing on Industry 4.0 era supply chain competitiveness.

Notably, he served as the Sr GM at Reliance Industries Limited, Mumbai, since January 2014. Before this, he held the position of Asst. Vice President at Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited, Noida. His tenure at Reliance Industries Limited started in 2003, where he climbed the ranks from Sr Manager to General Manager. Earlier in his career, he spent over 11 years at Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Limited, Nagothane, Maharashtra, transitioning from a Management Trainee to Sr Materials Officer.
