Yuanchao Yang began his academic journey with a keen interest in physics, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Tsinghua University in 2004. Since July 2009, Dr. Yang has been an integral part of the National Institute of Metrology (NIM), China, serving as a Researcher in the Pressure and Vacuum Lab. His commitment to advancing the field led to his appointment as the Head of the Pressure and Vacuum Lab at NIM in January 2018, a position he currently holds. His dedication to the field is further highlighted by his roles as a Guest Researcher at renowned institutions, including the Vacuum Group at PTB, Germany (July 2017 to October 2017), and the Sensor Science Division at NIST, USA (April 2015 to April 2016).
