Dr. Hayley Williams is a Gamilaroi woman and Research Fellow at The University of Queensland with over a decade of experience in applied health psychology, trauma, and Indigenous health research. Her work focuses on improving social and emotional wellbeing (SEWB), post-traumatic growth, and access to culturally safe, trauma-informed care for people who have experienced traumatic injury or adversity, with a strong emphasis on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and families.
