Assoc Prof Dr. Ahmed El Kenawy began his academic journey by obtaining dual Bachelor's degrees in Geography from the University of Mansoura and the University of Tanta in Egypt in 1999 and 2001, respectively. He then pursued a Diploma in African Studies from the University of Cairo in 2003. His thirst for knowledge led him to the United Kingdom, where he achieved a Master's degree in Environmental Informatics from the University of Leicester with Distinction in 2007. This laid a solid foundation for his subsequent academic pursuits. Dr. El Kenawy's academic journey continued with a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Zaragoza in Spain, where he graduated cum laude in 2012.
