Dr. Jin Ma began his academic journey at Hebei Normal University, China, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from 2001 to 2005. He further pursued his academic endeavors at Eastern Illinois University, where he completed an M.A. in Mathematics from 2005 to 2007. Later, he moved to California State University for undergraduate coursework in Accounting and Finance from 2008 to 2010. His passion for mathematics and accounting led him to earn an M.B.A. in Accountancy from Eastern Illinois University in 2015 and a Master of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Melbourne in 2016. Eventually, he earned a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Adelaide in 2022, where he specialized in auditing.

Dr. Jin Ma's professional journey began as an Instructor in Mathematics at Taylor Business Institute, United States, in 2008. His role as a Budget Analyst at D J Bronson Inc. from 2010 to 2013 marked his transition into the finance sector. Jin then served as a Graduate Assistant at Eastern Illinois University from 2013 to 2015. Since May 2017, Jin has been associated with the University of Adelaide, where he currently holds the position of Lecturer in Accounting. He has also worked as a Research Assistant for esteemed professors like Indrit Troshani and Paul Coram.
