Prof. Sohier Yahia’s academic journey began with a distinguished undergraduate education at Mansoura University, where she earned her M.B.B.CH. degree with honors in November 1993. This strong foundation in medicine was followed by a specialization in pediatrics, culminating in her M.Sc. in Pediatrics in November 1998 and her M.D. in Pediatrics in November 2002. As the Head of the Genetics and Metabolic Unit at Mansoura University Children’s Hospital since March 2022, she leads critical advancements in pediatric genetics.
